The book represents a report of Soviet Russia. In October 1927 he came to Moscow and stayed for half of a year. Traveled in Leningrad, Caucasus, Ukraine, Belarus. He joined the 10 years anniversary festival of the Revolution. Among the descriptions of the life of the young Soviet Union, its people and culture in photos and sketches, the book includes a diary. The contents include the reports on the literature, cinema, theaters, education, farming, new Soviet festivities, like May Day. Akita Ujaku was a friend of Vassily Yeroshenko, a Russian artist who moved to Japan. Yeroshenko helped Akita to write this book. Original paper wrapper with original dust jacket. The dust jacket is occasionally stained and worn at the creasings. Ex-ownership stamp on the front end paper. The contents are clean, near fine to fine condition. Size19x13.3cm, 1+2+334p.
