According the RBH, the last copy to appear at auction was in 1940.The first book designed by Mr. Updike, printed under his supervision at the Riverside Press. ?Before he began work on his own account, Updike had made one book, and only one, in which he had had entirely his own way. It is a simple volume, with little that is distinctive or decorative about it, except that there is nothing wrong; the proportions of page and margins, title, size of types and composition, tone of paper and quality of press work offer nothing for obvious criticism.
