Der Faksimiledruck erfolgte nach den letzten beiden Originalexemplaren. Das eine befindet sich in der Württembergischen Landesbibliothek, ist jedoch vom Zahn der Zeit so mitgenommen, daß man nur wenige Seiten als Druckvorlage nehmen konnte. Das andere Original befindet sich im Deutschen Literaturarchiv in Marbach, und davon konnten die meisten der 87 Druckseiten reproduziert werden.-- Welcher Beliebtheit sich die 'Schwäbische Schöpfung' (Uraufführung 1743 im Kloster Schussenried) von Anfang an erfreute, zeigt die Tatsache, daß noch zu Sailers Lebzeiten zahlreiche Abschriften in Umlauf kamen und sich rasch verbreiteten.
