Contempo…rary dark green quarter cloth, drab paper-covered boards, spines gilt ruled with red labels. Worn, some splashes and marks to spines, loss to edge of vol. II label, end caps and corners frayed, edges worn, externally a little shabby but unsophisticated and sound. Each volume with bookplate of William Bartlett to front pastedown and illegible ownership inscription to head of title-page. Very scarce in the UK and Ireland. WorldCat finds physical copies at the National Library of Ireland and Hull Central Library; LibraryHub adds a copy at Senate House Library, though catalogued with a date of 1920, so perhaps a reprint.
