HInges holding well - but look to have been re-glued in places. Page fore-edges tanning with age and some very pale foxing (light tan spots) . Internally 25 weekly issues of this magazine. Vignette illustration on title page. Endpapers and the first few pages lightly spotted and browning with age. Each magazine separately paginated. Many b/w advertisements of the era in each magazine. Profusely illustrated in black and white. INDEX. Contents cover all manner of nursing and medical articles including - Interpretation of Xrays; Nursing as a sign of culture; Florence Nightingale; For the Midwife; Nursing in the Holy Land; Silkworm gut; Surgery ancient and modern; Medical Emergency station in the Libyan Desert; Murder by poison. etc, etc. Articles are written by various practising nurses and medical and surgical authorities, etc. VERY THICK and HEAVY.
