Hardcover. Zustand: As New. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fine. 1st Edition. ** 5 VOLUME SET COMPLETE ** ALL 1ST EDITION, 1ST PRINTING ** ALL PUBLISHER'S EDITIONS WITH UNCLIPPED, PRICED DUSTJACKETS, NOT BOOKCLUBS ** There are over 100 photographs and other illustrations in each book, and each book has at least 120+ pages. Pages are of coated, high-grade, glossy paper. Each book stands 10 inches tall (quartos, 4to). For all practical purposes these are, in fact, new hardcover books. They were purchased new by a collector, and remained on his shelf for decades. All are unmarked, and likely they were never read. The only indication of any handling is slight, incidental wear at the tops and bottoms of the dustjacket spines on each book, from being moved on the shelf over the years. The jackets have no other significant or even notable flaws, and the books themselves are all essentially flawless. The books are quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, very firm and tight in their bindings, no pages are loose, torn, folded, creased, or missing. The hinges are all sound and undamaged, the corners are all sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain free, and all text and illustrations are sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings anywhere in any of the books. Dustjackets are all clean and stain-free, complete and intact, with no tears, no pieces missing, no wrinkles or creases.
