Cover illustrati…ons are the originals created by Sir John Tenniel, colored here by Diz Wallis. Internal illustrations by Alex Vining. A FIRST EDITION from 2000, this oblong quarto (9.75" x 13") has brightly decorated paper over boards, tied together with a creamy silk ribbon on fore edge side. Condition is VG+: aside from the 1 missing piece, BOTH ends of the spine have been heavily bumped, creating short horizontal tears & mild creasing (please see photos!). Else, completely clean & bright, pages white & unmarked, colors vivid. Pop-up scenes look & feel like they have never been completely unfolded!
