Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Sara the Wool-Gatherer by W. L. Rooper, published by Blackie & Son, Limited, London, Glasgow and Dublin. A green cloth hardback with blind-ruled borders to the covers. The front cover carries the title in blind lettering and a gilt-and-black roundel illustration of a bird among foliage. The spine and rear board are plain green cloth. The book opens with a frontispiece illustration captioned "Mrs. Monk Warns Sara" facing the title page, which gives the author, publisher and imprint details as above. There is a handwritten ownership inscription on the front endpaper reading Charles Edward Gillam, 262 Icknield Port Rd, Edgbaston, B'ham. The text pages seen are cream in tone with clear black type. The covers show some rubbing and small spots of wear to the cloth, with a couple of marks at the top corner of the front board. The spine shows light wear at the head.
