Printed title page plus 10 Japan-tissue photogravures each tack-glued at the corners onto a larger page, and printed by Edward Edwards' New York Photo-Gravure Company. Very good with rubbing on the boards, light corner wear and dampstaining on the spine, but with the interior images fine. A group of 10 hand-pulled photogravures, including one of the earliest known published works by American photographer Alfred Stieglitz: "After the Rain," which is, ironically for this American view book, a study done in 1886 in Mittenwald, Germany.
