No Binding. Zustand: Very Good. This is from Wall's line of postcards featuring urban Italian kids. This young man knows he's hooked, but hasn't decided if he likes it yet. The card was mailed, without any other message, to Miss gertrude in 1914: I wonder what the outcome was. Very nice shape.

Illustrated paper covered boards with black cloth backing. 10 color illustrations by Bernhardt Wall to include frontispiece. Four of the illustrations depict a young black boy. 10 separate sheets within. All pages with damp stains, tattered and worn edges with only the last page having damage that affects text. Visually the covers would indicate a very good copy. This is a reading copy only. Not paginated.

No Binding. Zustand: Very Good. A lengthy poem on a subjectr frequently on the mind of postcard senders. This one, mailed in 1914, includes a long message on the other side, too. Very nice shape.

We are probably being warned that fine feathers do not make fine birds, as the gentleman cannot see, for the fashionable feathered attire, that the lady has crossed eyes and a large nose. (Or perhaps what he CAN see, from that angle, is more interesting than the feathers: pick out your own morals, if any.) Mailed in 1915, a small crease in left margin, perhaps where the recipient clutched it; else fine.

No Binding. Zustand: Very Good. Her hat and her eyes give hints as to what her answer will be. Mailed in 1914 with a very brief message, nice shape, but worn at corners.

Bernhardt Wall has combined his trademark cute kid with the idea of Eve doing her laundry, and has also tossed in a reference to the ten trendy nude painting September Morn for good measure. Mailed around 1912, nice condition; wish the sender hadn't written that comparison of the young lady to Clara, but she did it rather nicely.

The duo here, confident in their self-sufficiency, certainly did the job. Mailed in 1912 with a one cent Washington, nice condition.
