In den WarenkorbPaperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book is a collection of poems centered around the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, and the author's reflections on the tranquility of nature, love, loss, and the passage of time. A Cotters Son, the author draws heavily on his own experiences amidst the landscape of his homeland, using vivid descriptions and heartfelt language to convey the beauty, love, and loss he experiences. From the song of the skylark to the scent of the primrose, nature offers solace and companionship, particularly during times of personal challenge. Through themes of love and devotion, the poems explore the challenges of love lost and the longing for a harmonious existence. A keen observer of the changing seasons, the author uses nature as a metaphor for the human experience, highlighting the transience of life and beauty. The book provides a testament to the power of nature to heal and inspire, offering solace to the reader and reminding them of the timeless beauty of the world around them. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
