cloth, dust jacket. 4to. cloth, dust jacket. 133, (6) pages. First edition. A fine copy in fine jacket. The first major work by William Hesterberg and his Hesterberg Press. The book is a photographic documentary of the author's hometown of Norborne, Missouri, a small railroad town of 931 people in the northwestern part of the state. The photographs represent a personal view of the friends, neighbors, relatives and personalities in the community who touched his early life and who are unforgettable to him. This familiarity and friendship is clearly evident in each portrait and offers the viewer a rare and unusual view of a changing rural America. Hesterberg Press (illustrator).
