Soft cover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The Exclusive Life Story with over 200 Collector's Item Photos! Today, when a pitcher throws 200 innings in a season it is reason to celebrate; yet Spahn dwarfs those totals with 5,243 total innings pitched, 382 complete games, 17 consecutive years of more than 200 innings-including six seasons of more than 290 innings. And Spahn had a lifetime WAR of 100.1. The publication has 24 pages in a program style, with lots of photos of Spahn but also Johnny Sain, Lew Burdette, Johnny Antonelli, Gene Conley, Eddie Mathews, Johnny Logan, Frank Torre, Bobby Bragan, Birdie Tebbetts, Fred Haney, Hank Aaron, and many more. This was part of a 11- book series produced by JKW in the 1960s, which included Musial & Mays; Maris & Mantle; DiMaggio & Williams; and two programs on the Old Timers.
