Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Rare vintage 1926 copy "Fifty-Two Years a Policeman." The book is overall in good- condition with signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate wear with sunning to the spine. There is cracking to the interior hinges & text block, but the binding is still sound. The interior is toned from age with some occasional foxing, soiling & grubbiness. The front endpapers have same name inscriptions & stamps. There is some evidence of bookplate removal to the front pastedown. A few pages have a marginal chip or tear which does not affect the text. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor stain or marking, etc. The book measures approximately 8 7/8 inches by 5 3/4 inches and is 335 pages long with a few black and white plates.
