Clean gilt cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, square and only very lightly tanned, mostly around edges of prelims and pages at end of text block.Very good condition and excellent for age.With 17 engravings from drawings by A.G. Vickers with tissue guards. The tail edge of frontispiece has feint water/damp mark. No inscriptions etc. Overall good condition. AG Vickers (illustrator).
