Privately printed but with a BT Batsford ticket at the foot of the front pastedown, This is a contemporaneous facsimile copy, numbered 63, of the author's original handwritten and illustrated entry into the Architectural Association Prize Essay competition of 1891, for which he was awarded silver medal and a prize of £10. Fifty-four leaves printed one side only.
