Two young Englishmen on a walking tour of central Europe stumble upon this cast of characters and become embroiled in intrigue. A tight, near fine copy, 1925 gift inscrp. front free endpaper. In the very scarce dust jacket that is regrettably flawed, well chipped about the egdes and with strips of masking tape at the head and foot of the faded spine (it is at least in one piece). Offered as is.

Interior is age-toned with some signs of foxing, text remains clear.
