Anger Kills was co-written with his wife Virginia Williams and draws on research they conducted jointly as well as on methods developed through anger-reduction workshops they led together. The strategies are presented not as a mandatory program to be followed in sequence but as a menu from which readers are encouraged to select according to their own temperament and circumstances.
