But although the railway declined, the electric utility branch prospered and grew into the dominant electric company in a four-state area -- the Potomac Edison Co. (now FirstEnergy). This is a loving look at a trolley system that served Maryland for over 50 years. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos. With equipment rosters and maps.
