In addition to his many endeavors, he was also knighted. In this book he published 11 short stories including The Gold Tree, A Summer's Day, A Good Little Boy, A Dead Man, Duty, and The Bookshop in Dreams. Signed by author on colophon. Each story illustrated with an initial designed by Austin O. Spare, and cut in wood by W. Quick. DJ with wear along edges, chips and minor staining. Minor foxing at foredge.
