The cover is the familiar red hard cover with embossed impressions of traditional wrought iron hinges. The covers are softened over time and ruffled, badly bumped. The spine is faded slightly.Cosmetically, the book is poor but the binding is sound and it is in usable condition. In addition there are 96 pages of advertisements offering an insight into the traveller's needs of yesterday.
