Buch Erstausgabe
First edition, first impression. Published by Andre Deutsch in London, 1968. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper has some slight creases to the front panel and toning to the spine and top edge. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 30s net price. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks, though slightly spotted, are mostly clean. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is in near fine condition. With an introduction by John Le Carré, this is about Philby, KGB advisor on British and US matters.
