First edition - First printing in wrappers, issued simultaneously with a signed limited hardcover edition. A significant collection by this influential and rather prolific poet. This book was the winner of the first Los Angeles Times Book Award in 1980. Kelly has been associated with the Black Mountain poets, bu t underneath his photograph in the back of this book is the statement 'Everything that ought to be known about Robert Kelly can be found in his books, of which this is the fortieth.' so there is nothing to add to that. 242 pp. Very near fine in stiff paper covers (slight fading to blue spine.).
