Thus, swaption pricing is a hot topic in financial mathematics. In this thesis, we will analyze swaptions whose short term interest rates are assumed to follow some affine models with dim…ension of factors more than two, so called multiple-factor interest rate models. Considering there is no analytical solution for such a swaption price , we attempt to approximate it, and our discussion will focus on one of these approximation method proposed by Collin-Dufresne and Goldstein. We will discuss the situations where the underlying interest rate models are Gaussian and CIR2++ respectively and develop this method by providing an accurate measure of approximation errors. Besides, other swaption pricing methods in literatures that provide different insights into swaption other than CDG approximation are discussed, as well as analytical solutions under one-factor interest rate models if exist.

Several studies on resource use efficiency have been undertaken on paddy, wheat and other major crops sown in Punjab, but comparatively less work has been done on basmati rice which is an important crop with an area of 0.65 million hectares, in Punjab state.In Punjab s present condition basmati rice seems to be a promising alternative of paddy, with its intensification as well as late planting not causing major damage to ground water resources due to occurrence of monsoon during sowing time. The adoption of IFRS is the result of a process towards a greater accounting harmonization. In Sweden, there are four categories of firms that apply IFRS; three are regulated by law, while the fourth are voluntary applying IFRS. The aim of this study is to find out which the factors are for the firms that voluntary apply IFRS and explain why they do it. We have found that there are 84 firms that voluntary apply IFRS, that is 35 percent. The significant factors to the voluntary application of IFRS are the use of an audit firm within the big four and the number of firms within the same industry that voluntary applies IFRS. Their voluntary application of IFRS has been explained to depend on the primarily advantages increased internal control, more extensive and detailed annual report, more investors, a good reputation in terms of a mark of quality and that the firms will be seen as good corporate citizen. 52 pp. Englisch.

Therefore, the study was conducted so as to investigate the association between immunization status (including hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenza) and survival of children of under five years in rural areas around Dodoma Municipality. Findings shows, immunization coverage rates were high for the first vaccine doses and declined subsequently, suggesting that mothers were less likely to ensure that children were fully immunized.
