Neuware -The creation of university websites and the use of the internet as new marketing communications tools between Universities and Students are rapidly gaining popularity in the higher educational sector in Cameroon. This study on the digitization of communications between the University and its s…tudents has as main objective to examine the admissions worries that the creation of the university website has solved; with subsidiary motives being students¿ satisfaction with the online registration; and the role played by radio slots in harnessing goodwill. An analogue CSSQ tool was used to gather data which were presented on frequency tables, and the analysis done using simple descriptive statistical tools. In our findings, we observed that the creation of the university website has satisfied admissions worries faced by students at the University of Buea; the online registration has made the registration process more satisfactory; and radio slots contribute in building the goodwill of a higher educational institution. We recommend the website/internet to be used as the prime communications medium between students and the university, with frequent updating of the website.

The academic relevance of this paper lies in the perspective of this research. Where prior literature has focused mainly on the reseller side of the relationship, this thesis looks at the suppliers' end. This paper is valuable to managers since it provides a new methodology for examining competitor's organizational culture, and its results have revealed potential opportunities in the industry.

It…first explains these authors' suggestion that US Congressmen move for career based reasons rather than political ones, before looking at examples from British history and three case studies from the New Labour era. These case studies are Alan Howarth, Shaun Woodward and Quentin Davies. Based on personal interviews with these three switchers, along with the historical examples, this work argues that British MPs change parties not for career based reasons but largely for ideological ones. The mandate, however, is a sword that cuts both ways. The ICC benefits from the UNSC through enforcement mechanisms and also acquires jurisdiction over situations it would not normally handle. In the same breath, the ICC may suffer from loss of legitimacy and independence. This book discusses the nature of the relationship between the ICC and the UNSC in the light of the latter's power to impact on the work of the Court. The case study of the ICC arrest warrant against Sudanese president comes handy. The Rome Statute provision mandating the UNSC to refer situations to the ICC will therefore be critically analysed. Suggestions for an alternative regime based on request for an opinion will be made against the current referral regime. The view taken is that an opinion regime will allow the ICC some more discretion, independence and in the end legitimacy. Preliminary analysis of the practical problem manifested that LAs as administrators of MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) in Greece have some core issues for potential improvement. The main aim of this research was to identify the gap between the EMSs requirements and LAs' practices and procedures and produce recommendations of action items required to address deficiencies. By taking into account the issues for potential improvement mentioned above, an indication was given as to the areas requiring research. These include the management for the waste process of the administrations; environmental review of their waste activities and LAs environmental policy. The most dominant analysis of the US r…ole has arguably been provided by the realist perspective, particularly its hegemonic stability theory (HST) branch.According to this approach, the hegemon is perceived as benign as it provides the stability and security for others to benefit and prosper under its leadership, while sacrificing its short-term interests for the sake of the stability of the system. In this book, the author challenges this theory by using the neo-Gramscian theory that was introduced in the 1970s by Robert Cox based on the writings of Antonio Gramsci regarding the concept of hegemony and ideology. The book focuses on the US foreign policy in the Middle East because of the importance of this region to the material interests of the US and the dominant hegemonic class. So, the case of the Middle East can arguably be ideal in understanding how the hegemonic ideology of the elites was applied, and still is, in order to safeguard those interests. 72 pp. Englisch.
