46 pages with 20 blank leaves at rear for notes and some notes are made in pencil on a couple of leaves. The book divided into 4 sections with sections 3-4 being added for the first time and include important 1st printing of some famous nursery rhymes such as "Little Bo-Peep" "Humpty-Dumpty", "Little Boy Bluet", "One two Buckle My Shoe" (In here called "Arithmetick" [sic].), etc. And others less well remembered today and hardly sung at all, except perhaps in isolated areas of the UK? #Some handling marks an annotation under one rhyme (see below) and some light to medium foxing, but hand made paper watermarked 1806 in the weave. Original full dark blue calf, with gilt titles down the spine, top board detached but present, marbled endpapers. Very Rare in this 1st edition state with wide margins. Small octavo (in 8's) 1810. *NOTE: A two line addition in manuscript to the rhyme "London Bridge is Broken Down" after verse 2 contemporary with the age of the book.
