Part 1 has a Magnificent Series of Illuminations on vellum 48 lots on 3 Catalogues: Number 1. 38 pages + 24 monotone plates some folding. Part 2 has; Choice and valuable Books 870 lots on 147 pages with12 chromolitho colour plates and 33 in monochrome. All 3 sales Held between July 1927 to March 1928. Part 3 has: Choice, Rare and Valuable Books. 1006 lots on 127 pages with 30 monochrome plates 5 in full colour. All three in original green printed wrappers, plates on extra leaves. The wrappers show a little age fading at edges, the pages are all uncut at edges. The items were once in Dorchester House Park Lane, London & Westonbirt, Gloucestershire. A lovely set. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
