Large quarto, [iv], [48], [2] (verso blank) pages, comprising a frontispiece poem (recto blank), title page, contents page, 12 full-page colour lithographs (after handcoloured woodcuts) each with a leaf of descriptive verse (all leaves printed one side only), and a farewell verse ('Envoy') by Henley; the illustration of the Bus-Driver on the front cover does not appear in the book. Original quarter vellum and two-colour pictorial papered boards, top edge dyed red, others uncut; vellum rubbed and discoloured; boards mottled, foxed, bowed and a little bumped and worn at the corners; some surface loss to silverfish to small areas along the leading edge of the front cover, with slight damage to the leading edge of the front board; endpapers offset and a little foxed; tiny splashes of red dye to some top margins; a decent copy (with the contents in fine condition).
