Small Quarto Size [approx 17.5cm x 24cm]. Good Condition. Boards are edgeworn with some fading to spine and minor marking; corners rubbed and a little bumped. Sympathetic new endpapers to both volumes. Gilt to top edges. Illustrated with colour and black & white plates. Volume I has two large fold-out maps and three fold-out genealogies. There are some minor splits to the folds on one of the genealogies and one map has been professionally repaired where it is attached to spine. Volume II has two fold-out maps to rear.
