It begins with the close of the Boxer uprising, and with kaleidoscopic vividness carries the reader through subtle intrigue practiced in Chinese disguise by participants in the Japanese-Russian War, leads on through the Chinese Revolution under the distinguished Dr. Sun Yat Sen, and gives a look into the crusade against the cruel practice of 'feet binding,' and into other reforms."A unique, very nice copy.
