Xii pp + 486 pages and a addendum leaf with plate list at rear. 8 hand coloured lithographic plates as called for, half title, original buff paper boards, pebble grained green cloth spine with original title label still intact. Uncut edges, small lozenge shaped binders label inside front board "T. Cross, Binder, Holborn". Some light foxing to endpapers, minor age toning to paper, boards handled and rubbed, but all original, all firm and in very good condition. tall octavo. 1833. PLUS with this are 41 loose hand coloured early 19th century dress/costume plates of Russian peoples, some of these have scuff marks and a little off offsetting, on the backs are written in pencil what the image portrays. They would enhance the reading of the work I'm sure.
