Title page and contents leaf, then 302 pages + a 32 page Essay of Mercury (Quick-Silver) with a separate title page and 16 pages (unnumbered) of Indexes (for the 2 volumes) at the rear. The title page is a little browned at the edges in, a WW has been printed in magenta at the top of the wording, but contemporary and doesn't distract really. Contents very good all printed on hand-made paper, Rebound in a plain maroon morocco, with gilt titles and raised bands, this is probably a 20th century binding. Octavo.1741 (NOT a reprint, or facsimile). 8 copies are held in UK institutional libraries in Royal College of Surgeons in England and Scotland and the Wellcome Trust.
