61 pages, illustrated endpapers, there are colour litho plates on every other page on the right hand side, advert for No 2 of the series "The Langham Series for Children", some wear at edge and the paper boards are also rubbed, contents a little shaken, small paste down colour inset on the cover and embossed titles, the illustration has a loss at bottom left but otherwise a clean copy, so no amateur colouring or inscriptions internally, An early John Hassall work c1905-08. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
