Oil based Baxter Print of "A Soldiers Farewell", set in a Winter snowy landscape, Approx 4 x 6 inches to print edges & 9 x 11 approx to frame edge, some of the image seems to be under the mount, the cream mount is 20th century and has a few small imperfections or slivers of material between the mount and the glass, colours a little dull but clear and fresh to view. ** Wiki source: " Despite his technical excellence and the general popularity of his prints, Baxter's business was never profitable ? his process was laborious and it seems likely that his perfectionism prevented him from completing many of his commissioned works on time".
