Hand coloured aquatint by Bluck after Pugin and Rowlandson, showing the interior of the Georgian chapel of St Stephen's. The print comes from Ackermann's published work The Microcosm of London, it has been trimmed slightly which has caused the publisher and date to have been lost, the plate line is around 3 sides the base line has been trimmed, image very good and the plate is numbered 90 from the series. Measures 9.5 x 12 inches approx or 7.6 x 10.2 inches image only. Very Good Genuine. NOT a modern copy. All hand coloured at the same time as the aquatint was made. *Note: From the designs by Christopher Wren, It is located in Walbrook, next to the Mansion House, and near to Bank and Monument Underground stations. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
