Hand coloured aquatint by J. Bluck after Pugin and Rowlandson, showing prisoners working the pump water engine and washing clothes with guard or Jailer in attendance. Print has browned from once being framed and a brown offsetting has occurred to borders, plate mark visible, no marks or tears. Good to Very Good. Measures; Approx 12.5 x 10 inches to edge and approx 10.5 x 9 inches to print edge. Note on door states "Male Convicts" and a set of shackles on the far wall, the gaoler holds a set of massive iron keys. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 8582

We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
