ALS (2) from the Marquis of Lorne, 9th Duke of Argyll, husband of Princess Louise. Headed Eastwell Place, Ashford, Kent, Jan. 14, 1884 (1) and Kensington, Aug. 24, 1883 (2). He was Governor General of Canada 1878-1883, and married Queen Victoria?s 4th daughter Louise. In the first letter he declines to preside over a fete for the ?Home for little boys?.
