Some handwritten corrections and notations. Handwritten postscript "_ has not been too well, has been away to Brighton, is back again, much better & sends you her love. Yours ever, W.J." Dated 20 October 1952. Sender's details "W.J. de la Mare, The Old Park, Penn, Bucks, England" . De La Mare (1873-1956), the English poet, was 80 years old at this time and a friend of Sir Arthur Donnelly (1890-1954), a prominent lawyer, sports administrator and Chairman of the Bank of NZ.
