Bernhardt details his delightful evening accompanied by Admiral Charles D. Sigsbee and Monsignor John P. Chidwick (commander and chaplain of the battleship Maine) had with Theodore Roosevelt on Decoration Day, 1917, at Oyster Bay -- WEBER. p.32. One etching of Roosevelt herein "Sketched at a Rough Riders' Luncheon, San Diego, Calif. 1915." Interior bright and fresh. Wall wrote, designed, printed, cut, sewed, and bound many of his books himself including this one. Spine slightly rubbed toward head. Orig. light tan cloth and brown boards, front cover paper label.
