Having started buying old leather books at Garden Fetes and jumble (thrift) sales at the age of 8, it is not surprising that I ended up as a bookseller, initially part-time, in 2005. My stock is eclectic. I look for books that have quality, interest or are unusual as well as more commonly sought books. I aim to describe books accurately including repairs, rebinding and faults. I have used the same professional bookbinder since starting. I generally describe books with commonly used book terms and abbreviations. If unsure please ask. There are photos for all the books listed. Photos are usually added within a few hours to a couple of days after listing. Further photos can be requested. Most stock is priced between £20 - £2500. The best way to contact me is by email as I spend part of the time in an area with poor mobile reception. I aim to ship items within 2 days. If required by a specific date please let me know beforehand or when ordering. Thank you for looking.

I endeavour to provide an accurate description/grading. I can provide
scans/photos on request and will reserve an item for up to 48 hrs.
All major faults are described. In books costing less than £10
minor details eg pc dj, owner's name may be omitted. Please enquire if these
details are important to you.
Should the book be not as described then I am happy to make a full refund. Please
contact me within 7 days of receipt.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books wrapped weighing 1kg.
If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Equally, if lighter I can provide an individual quote or will reduce shipping at time of processing the order.
I am happy to provide alternative post rates eg Economy Mail for overseas, Signed For etc and insurance. I generally send heavier parcels within the UK by Courier.
Air Mail rates within parts of Europe are approx 60% of Worldwide rates.
