De bundel nagelaten gedichten werd na zijn dood door zijn Zutphense vrienden samengesteld, mede om de geldzorgen van de weduwe wat te verlichten. Het dichtstuk 'Het land onzer vreemdelingschap', dat hij enkele dagen voor zijn dood onder algemeene toejuiching in Rotterdam had voorgelezen, staat er niet in. Van dat werk bestond maar één exemplaar en dat verbrandde mèt de auteur in de Rotterdamse hotelkamer waar hij logeerde. Achterin staat een lijstje met andere uitgaven van Thieme (4 pagina's). L0019.
