We recognized that it was no quirk of fate that our Jewish backgrounds gave support to these two related viewpoints. It is in this sense that we feel a deep commitment to Jewish thought. As mentioned earlier, one of the reasons that so many of us came together to start this paper, was a growing concern with our radical communities' increasingly anti-Israel posture.
