Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Nach den bei BoD - Books on Demand erschienenen Bänden 'Schwedische Märchen', einer Übersetzung der Sammlung von Gunnar Olof Hyltén-Cavalius und George Stephens (ISBN 978-3-7528-6829-6), und 'Märchen und Geschichten aus Schonen (Schweden)' nach einer Ausgabe von Eva Wigström (ISBN 978-3-7534-0870-5) folgt nun ein dritter Band mit schwedischen Märchen in deutscher Sprache. Der Sammler dieser Volksmärchen war August Bondeson, ein Arzt und Schriftsteller aus der Provinz Halland. Nachdem sein erstes Buch mit Märchen ausschließlich Erzählungen aus seiner Heimatprovinz enthalten hatte, die er zu einem bedeutenden Teil von seinem Vater gehört hatte, einem seinerzeit für sein Erinnerungsvermögen und seine Erzählkunst bekannten Schuhmacher und Sattler. Für sein zweites Märchenbuch, das hier nunmehr in deutscher Übersetzung vorgelegt wird, hatte er sein Sammelgebiet auf zehn Landschaften im südlichen Drittel Schwedens ausgedehnt. Allerdings stammt auch hier mit 41 Texten fast die Hälfte der 90 Geschichten aus Halland. Bei uns waren Bondesons Märchen bisher weitgehend unbekannt. Lediglich drei kürzere Texte waren im 1915 erschienenen ersten Band der 'Nordischen Volksmärchen' von Klara Stroebe in der Reihe 'Die Märchen der Weltliteratur' enthalten. Diesem Mangel soll mit dieser Ausgabe abgeholfen werden.
