The text begins: "Sir Edward Carson has sent a detailed reply to a resolution passed by the Blackburn Branch of the Catholic Federation on the 17th October, 1920, protesting against a statement made by him that a Dublin Parliament would be governed and guided by the Hierarchy of the Church, and calling on the Government to protect Roman Catholics in Ireland from Orangement and the forces of the Crown." [followed by a statement by Sir Edward Carson]. The Ulster Unionist Council was created in Belfast in March 1905. *OCLC* locates only a single copy (National Library of Ireland).
