The study was guided by Deming's Theory of Management. The study found out that change which was either, planned, revolutionary or evolutionary was caused by technological and infrastructural developments. It was also established that even without adequate training in the same, Principals mainly used motivation and delegation of duties to mange school-based change. The findings should, shed some insights on this new front of manging change from within and should be especially usefull to policy makers, Principals, teaching and non-teaching staff and other stakeholders who may be considering utilizing the holistic management strategies (practices) 108 pp. Englisch.
