Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book tells the heartwarming story of Epaminondas, a young boy growing up in the American South during a time when life was simpler, and families relied on each other for everything. Epaminondas is a curious and helpful child, eager to assist his mother in any way he can, even if it means using his little carpenter's tools to fix their rattling windows and creaking doors. The author's delightful use of dialect, common in Southern literature, adds a layer of authenticity to the narrative. The story explores themes of family, resourcefulness, and the importance of trying to help, even if it means making a few mistakes along the way. The charming and humorous adventures of Epaminondas highlight the enduring power of a child's boundless love and desire to make a difference, and this heartwarming tale is sure to leave readers with a smile.
