Omnibus Books published some wild collections during the 1980s, with great illustrations and crazy poems to entice young readers ("Vile Verse", "Putrid Poems" and others) and the collections sold very well, though mainly in paperback. The hardcover first editions are uncommon. Illustrated with b/w drawings by the talented Craig Smith. The poets in this collection include: Michael Dugan, Sally Farrell Odgers, Max Fatchen, W.S.
