Vintage 1981 - The Shamrock Story - A History of the Shamrock Hotel - Bendigo, Australia On 5 January 1854 Joseph Carncross, owner of the Royal Exchange Restaurant on Bendigo Flat, sat down and wrote to the Colonial Secretary.
