Nella prima parte l'a. suggerisce un teatro ideale di tipo secentesco; la sala è a pianta semicircolare contornata da 5 ordini di palchi; nella polemica per la copertura della sala olimpica l'Arnaldi difese il progetto palladiano di una copertura a cassettoni. Rare and interesting study on the architecture of theatres. Published in Vincenza, where the famous Teatro Olimpico of Palladio can still be admired. This is the main work of Arnaldi (1716 - 1794) who was a citizen of Vicenza. Not in Fowler, nor Millard. Cicognara 749-50.
