The text includes the history of each ship, along with lore and legend, and is a treasure for those who value stories of the sea. This single volume is a selection of the 36 most significant ships featured in the original three-volume set. Each featured ship is portrayed in a full-color full-page illustration along with the original text provided by Lubbock. I attach photos of the contents.
